Ignyte is pleased to announce that Dr. Carol E. Lowman has joined Ignyte as the SVP of the Public Sector.

Recent changes in legislation have opened opportunities for pure, commercially focused innovative companies to participate in bringing change to the government. Dr. Lowman’s extensive experience in establishing an acquisition strategy will help Ignyte manage the challenges related to federal acquisitions within the public sector and the modernization of government systems. “I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the Ignyte team and look forward to the next step in our relationship. Dr. Carol E. Lowman retired from the Army Contracting Command (ACC), where she was the second Executive Director of that organization. ACC provides global contracting support to warfighters through the full spectrum of military operations at 117 locations worldwide, who awarded and managed more than 198,000 contracting actions valued at more than $86.9 billion annually during her tenure.  Prior to the Director position, Dr. Lowman served as ACC’s Deputy Director. Before that, she was the Executive Director of Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Sam Houston, TX. There, she managed more than 1600 military and civilian personnel located at 41 installations within the Continental United States. More information about Carol can be found on our website. Dr. Lowman holds a doctorate in Public Administration from the University of Georgia. Her research interests in her doctoral program were leadership and privatization.
