Ignyte Assurance Platform™ announced today its acceptance into the Entrepreneurial Services Provider (ESP) program, part of the Ohio Third Frontier, after completing a two-day startup bootcamp at The Entrepreneurs Center (TEC). TEC runs the highly-selective regional ESP program and identified Ignyte based on their talented team, promising technology, and large addressable market.

“It’s no secret that we as a society need to do more about protecting digital information,” said Max Aulakh, CEO of Ignyte. “Problems of this magnitude require equally big solutions, and we’re extremely excited to join the ESP program to explore ways to scale the impact of our work while helping grow cyber jobs in our local region.”

Ignyte Assurance Platform is used by many prestigious institutions including Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. The software is used to direct, operate, and manage cybersecurity resources and planning associated with compliance, audit, and potential security risks. There is a continuously growing demand in both the public and the private sector for acquiring Ignyte Assurance Platform and cybersecurity services through Ignyte. Several organizations have claimed significant improvements in efficiencies and effectiveness through use of this technology as their primary risk and compliance platform.

“We have many practitioners in cybersecurity who are at the very entry-level in our region due to all the recent new graduates in cybersecurity coming from local universities, but our clients are asking us for more experienced professionals to aid them in managing vendor risk and supply chain risk within their organizations,” said Aulakh. “We are certain our firm will be the first to grow demand for seasoned cyber assurance and risk professionals locally.”

“The Ignyte team and technology show incredible promise to grow and create jobs in the region. The Entrepreneurs Center is excited to add Ignyte to our ESP portfolio,” said Scott Koorndyk, President of The Entrepreneurs Center. TEC’s ESP team will help Ignyte prepare for follow-on rounds of funding from key investors as well as provide marketing and business strategy coaching. TEC is also supporting Ignyte’s efforts to enhance its cybersecurity technology through exclusive licensing opportunities with the Air Force Research Lab located in the Dayton region through the Technology Acceleration Program (TAP) funded by the Air Force. The Entrepreneurs Center (TEC) is the Miami Valley’s center for entrepreneurial excellence. TEC drives meaningful connections and provides significant resources to Miami Valley entrepreneurs and research institutes.
