The executive managing consultant requires subject matter expertise in cybersecurity, risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, CoBIT, FFIEC, etc.), regulatory compliance (e.g., CMMC, FedRAMP, HIPAA, etc.), and the ability to lead and direct customer engagements (e.g., pre-sales support through delivery to post-sales support).
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (preferred) in either computer science, information technology, management of information systems, or a similar field of study, with 5 plus years of information systems security management experience, or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in lieu of a degree
- Working knowledge of system functions, security policies, technical security safeguards, and operational security measures
- Working experience with RMF, CNSSI 1253, NIST SP 800-53/53A, NIST 800-171/171A, ISO 27001:2013, etc.,
- Holds a current U.S. government security clearance(s) or can obtain said clearance. Active TS/SCI preferred.
- Demonstrated presentation and communication skills, including effectively communicating to internal and external customers, with the ability to use a variety of presentation methods
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with a wide variety of clients and Ignyte team members, including management and technical staff
- Demonstrated ability to provide guidance and leadership to less experienced team members, including delegating tasks and resolving customer issues
- Demonstrated time management and organizational skills; ability to handle multiple concurrent projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated consulting experience in previous positions held
- Relevant Industry Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, Security +, Cloud +, etc.)
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Regularly serves as the customer delivery manager with the responsibility of managing customer expectations and identifying additional opportunities to expand Ignyte’s business relationship with the customer
- Directly supervises project staff to ensure engagement success and appropriate use of practice tools, methodology, deliverable(s) preparation, and client presentation.
- Guide and direct operational security practices for customer environments and information systems (IS) in accordance with government, DoD, and Industry regulations, policies, and procedures
- Understands the business factors and motivators driving technology decisions with clients
- Responsible for determining business and technical requirements and identifying the appropriate Ignyte solutions for clients
- Plans, directs and coordinates activities of designated customer projects and associated personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure that customer service delivery is effectively managed on all dimensions
- Provides subject matter expertise to customers in developing accreditation processes, to include:
- Developing and maintaining cybersecurity RMF and ATO related documentation
- System Security Plans (SSPs) and Plan of Action & Milestones (POA&Ms)
- System security implementation and testing
- Centralizing governance within the Ignyte Assurance Platform
- Developing and maintaining cybersecurity RMF and ATO related documentation
- Create/provide security education and awareness training for employees
- Contribute or create, and deliver cybersecurity presentations, webinars, blogs, and social media posts
- Ensures internal and external accountability to work estimates and project financials
- Consistently achieves outstanding customer satisfaction results
- Other duties and responsibilities as directed
